When stepping into Eclectic Energy, you truly get to take in a completely “eclectic” experience. Now offering magnificent items from more than 200+ designers, Eclectic Energy is South County’s newest “go-to” for unique treasures.
Believe it or not, Wakefield’s new gem was actually born in New York. After graduating from URI, owner Pam Davis moved to NY and owned a successful artisan gift shop for 7 years in Greenwich Village (Eclectic Energy) which specialized in functional, hand-crafted American art. After the unfortunate events of September 11, 2001, like many other small businesses in the city, Eclectic Energy closed its doors and Pam decided it was time for a change. It was time to move home after 31 years in New York, but she always wanted to reopen Eclectic Energy.
When choosing the space for her new vision, one attribute that became a priority was finding a location that offered a variety of rooms to showcase multiple collections of differing items. She found the perfect space in a beautiful 1900’s property in Wakefield and purchased the building on April 10th of 2023. Following the purchase, Eclectic Energy’s founder went into hyperdrive getting the 123 year old property into shape for Eclectic Energy’s official opening on July 3, 2023.
After so many years in the industry, Pam has built a great deal of relationships with various designers. It reflects in every detail of Eclectic Energy. Every item is so unique and they all come together to create a wonderfully diverse collection.
“I choose items for my store that I would want in my home.”
